GURUVAYOOR
     Location: 29 kms north west of   Thrissur. It is among India's most important pilgrimage centers and is also known as the 'Dwaraka of the South' this is probably the temple that hosts the maximum number of marriages and the rice feeding ceremonies 

  ATHIRAPILLY
    Location :53 kms from Thrissur .  
       East of Chalakkudy, near the entrance to the Sholayar forest ranges, are the beautiful waterfalls of Athirappilly and Vazhachal.

CHURCH - The Lourdes- and the    Bascillica for Our Lady Of Dolours....
 have imposing facade and gothic design.

  VADANAPPILLY BEACH
     Location 17 kms from Thrissur
       The real cool place to be in. A lot fishing also takes place in this area

VADAKKUNNATHAN TEMPLE  
          Location: Down town Thrissur. 
          A prominent Siva temple, this is one of Kerala’s most ancient wall paintings, wood carvings and art pieces of immense historical value. The ‘Pooram’ festival, falling in April/May, attracts devotees and tourists from all over the world.

        
  PALAYUR CHURCH
     Location 25 kms from Thrissur. One of the seven churches established by St. Thomas, legand says that Christian faith for the first time in India. The church has an unique architectural style.
      

   PUNNATHUR KOTTA - Near Guruvayur, 2 Km away, is 'Punnathur Kotta' , the place where the temple elephants (numbering over 50 ) are taken care of . No where else can so many elephants be seen at any one time. Visitors are allowed.
