THRISSUR POORAM 
        
The most colourful temple festival of Kerala,  celebrated annually in April-May,  is world famous. Venue :Vadakkumnathan temple ,one of the oldest temple is a classical  example of the Kerala style of architecture and has many decorative murals  and work of art . 

FIRE WORKS

      Mind blowing fireworks are the real charm of all festivals ,especially in the case of Thrissur pooram. Fire works starts in the early hours and the dazzling display lasts for hours.  

PULIKALI
   
  Pulikali is a speciality of Thrissur in connection with  the Onam celebration across the State. On the fourth Onam day groups of people from all over Thrissur paint their bodies in the likeness of tigers and wearing tiger masks, come to the Swaraj Round in processions and perform the pulikali.

ARATTUPUZHA  
Location: 14kms from Thrissur
          The place owes its fame to yet another pooram festival celebrated in April -May. This one of the most colorful festivals of Kerala. Where one gets the opportunity to see a parade of around 75 caparisoned Tuskers.
